podcasting?
If you're just
getting started, it's useful to think of a podcast as a radio
show you can download and listen to where and when you want.
To take it one step further, the real glory of podcasting is
that you can subscribe to your favorite shows and each time a
new episode is released, you will automatically receive it.

To listen
to podcasts
All you really need to listen
to a podcast is some kind of media player on your computer and
most computers come with one pre-installed (e.g. Windows Media
Player, QuickTime). Podcasts are really just MP3 files you can
download likes songs.
But if you want to
automatically collect and store our podcasts -- and this is especially good if you want to stick 'em on
your Ipod or other MP3 player as you rush out the door every
morning -- you'll need to subscribe through Elegantly
Expressed iTunes page or by using another "podcatching"
program.
